The post Le Coucou Air Fryer Review first appeared on AirFryers.net.

Le Coucou is a relatively new brand when it comes to air fryers, but they have already racked up more than a few happy customers. The Le Coucou Air Fryer is a cheap air fryer with some impressive features and possibilities. Let’s have a look at the Le Coucou Harmony Air Fryer and see if it’s worth buying.

As of writing this article Le Coucou Kitchen Appliances only has 1 air fryer called the Harmony. The Harmony Air Fryer uses a heating element (located in the top of the air fryer) combined with high-speed air circulation to heat the food from all directions thus ensuring healthier and faster preparation of food.

Le Coucou claims that their air fryer can prepare food using 70% less fat compared to deep frying. This is pretty much in tune with the claims of other air fryer brands like T-fal and Philips.

Le Coucou Air Fryer Features

60 minutes countdown timer with buzzer

Le Coucou Air Fryer Usage

The Le Coucou Harmony air fryer can be used for preparing a variety of foods, including hamburgers, chicken wings, (French) fries, fish fingers, frozen vegetables, egg rolls and a lot more.

Using the Le Coucou is very easy:

-Remove the food basket from the base

-Fill the basket with food (be careful not to overfill)

-Put the basket back into the base unit

-Set desired time and temperature

-The timer goes off at the end of the cooking process

Note: when preparing fries it’s recommended to shake the basket halfway through. The air fryer automatically stops when the frying pan is taken out so this is not a problem, but for your own timekeeping, it’s easier to set the timer for half the time needed and then set it again for the remaining time after giving the fries a shake.

Cleaning the Le Coucou is very easy: Just pop the basket in the dishwasher and use a damp cloth to wipe down the base unit.

Pros

Prepares food easy, fast, and healthy
Can be used for many different foods
Value for money
30 Day Money back guarantee
Easy to use and clean

Cons

The first few uses the air fryer produces a bit of a “new” smell. This did not affect the taste of the food.
No cookbook provided, but there are plenty of air fryer cookbooks and recipes to be found online.
Works well with battered food items, but not so well on Panko breaded items.

Our Verdict

Right out of the box this air fryer is an impressively well-built product. It takes up a bit of counter space, so this something you have to keep in mind if you have a small countertop.

However, the Le Coucou air fryer does do the job perfectly and for a price that can hardly be beaten. If you’re a family of 2-3 people that needs a cheap air fryer that does what it says and is easy to use, this air fryer is for you.

On top of that, the company behind Le Coucou air fryer offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Now that’s value for money!
